![]() Bradey is excellent as the wiley, focused Brooke, whose unique talent provides Wyrmwood with one of its sparks of originality, even if it’s not explored quite as thoroughly as it could have been. Burchill is the highlight as the posturing Benny, although his character gets marginalized to a gag-machine near the end. Gallagher does a lot of grunting and growling as generic tough guy Barry, but also sells the pain of losing his friends and family along the way. ![]() Character development isn’t much of a priority for Wyrmwood, but the cast does well with the material they’re given.
